So, armed with our slogan, "Strong Backs & Stronger Minds," we did just that, moving satisfied customers for many years. During that time, we couldn't help but notice how wasteful the moving industry really is. Between large trucks rolling down our highways using exorbitant amounts of fuel to the literal tons of plastic stretch wrap being thrown away by moving companies around the world every year, we decided that we didn't want to contribute to this waste any longer. Thus an idea was born that would revolutionize the moving industry forever! Eco- friendly movers that still adhere to that simple concept of excellent customer service at a reasonable rate. So Quick Moves became North Carolina's very first environmentally aware moving company! We bought our first bio-diesel truck, which now resides in Durham, NC and operates on locally produced Piedmont Bio-Fuels, to service all of North Carolina. We also began using all biodegradable plastic stretch wrap when caring for our customers' furniture and offering recycled boxes whenever possible.
